WHO ARE WE?

Aloha! We are team Joe, Merf, and our son Landon. Together we make up JOMERLAN®! As a family, we’d like to extend our welcome to you on our page and journey.
Originally, this site started because of a dream of starting and running a small business on Amazon. We did for a while but our priorities changed so we made adjustments. You can read a short post I wrote in the blog.
The soccer gene runs through my wife and her side of the family. Most of her brothers and sister started playing on the pitch at a young age all the way up until high school, with the two sisters becoming all-star players.
I, on the other hand, have no wealth of soccer experience at all. When asked if I played, I always like to say I was part of PESC or RSC – Physical Education Soccer Club or Recess Soccer Club! Most of my touches on the ball was on the playground with no organized team. Here is my own personal disclaimer – I am no expert in the world of soccer but just a soccer parent who is continually learning about this beautiful game as my son is.
Here in our corner of cyberspace, we are chronicling our journey as dedicated soccer parents and Landon’s enjoyment for playing soccer! He has often said to us he has a desire to “go pro”. Many soccer kids have said and dreamed about it but few reach it. There are numerous young, talented athletes who want to be the next Messi, Ronaldo, or Neymar Jr, even more talented than our son. Whether or not he makes it to that elite level of competition, we are along for the ride and here to support him in the beautiful game no matter where his own journey takes him.
We hope to post stories as often as we can, share our experiences and just talk about soccer in general. We are also on Facebook and Landon has an Instagram account so you can check us out there. Come back often and see you on the pitch!
